Jesus Met the Woman at the Well
This is a fun, lively accapella arrangement of an old spiritual. This is another song that's difficult to find an SATB arrangement of. Your basses will especially enjoy the the walking bass line. It's a perfect song for the Sunday when story of the Woman at the well is the lectionary reading. (Arr. by Debra Roland) $15.00
Kumbaya
Here's an arrangement of an old favorite. There is a part for xylophone (Orff), conga and shakere to make it sound more like the traditional African song that it is. SATB (arr. D. Roland) $10.00
Kyrie
SATB arrangement of the standard Kyrie text. Excellent for any time of year especially during Lent, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday or Good Friday Services. The accompaniment is meant to be played on the organ or a sustained strings sound on a digital keyboard. An open floor tom or bass drum mixed with some dissonance in the accompaniment, adds a haunting, dramatic effect to the piece. A digital arrangment of the accompaniment is available on CD. Psalm 95
This piece is mostly two part although has a short third part (for sopranos) added in some places. The accompaniment is meant for guitar but would work almost as well using a digital keyboard set on the harpsichord, harp or classical guitar sound. (Great piece if you've been waiting to use that classical guitarist that belongs to your congregation!) Works well at Thanksgiving time or for general use. Text is taken directly from Psalm 95.
